About Ira's Run
 Ira’s Run is held each year to honor the memory of Ira Sohn and to raise funds for organizations assisting children and their families battling illness and other disabilities. Ira grew up in Englewood and attended Moriah and Frisch schools. Running was an integral part of his life and is depicted in the logo for this event. Ira was a loving daddy, a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend. Ira, whose optimism, courage, warmth and wit touched everyone he met, died of cancer in 1993 at the age of 28.
The proceeds from the 16th Annual Ira’s Run will go to benefit The Tomorrows Children’s Fund at Hackensack Hospital, ArtWorks: The Naomi Cohain Foundation and Englewood Hospital & Medical Center.
